Skualo
07-08-2002, 01:03 AM
since this thread is called singnings and SALES..lets take a look to our team who should leave in way to get back some money spen in coco and if god wants...nesta..

Goalkeepers:

1.- TOLDO Francesco
2.- FONTANA Alberto
3.- MOREAU Mathieu

on this subject we dont need to sale or buy anyone we are very solid in this aspect by having 1 of the top 3 keepers of the world in Toldo..Fontana also very secure..

Defenders:

1.- COCO Francesco
2.- CORDOBA Ivan Ramiro
3.- GEORGATOS Grigoris
4.- MATERAZZI Marco
5.- SERENA Michele
6.- SORONDO Gonzalo
7.- VIVAS Nelson David
8.- ZANETTI Javier
9.- GAMARRA Carlos

we are pretty strong in this aspect if neta joins we will have a wall in defense i think taking in consideration the numbers of games the team have to deal next season having a subst to every player of the XI starters will be obvious..so no need to sale anyone i think we allready sold the useless (gresko, simic & padalino)...But if NESTA finally joins i said we sould sell serena and sorondo..cus i forgot the card gamarra...

also taking in consideration primavera players that seems to be working hard to wins a place on the first squad players like Ferraro,Fraga on defense ould be inters future..;) without saying theyre the champions of italy...

Midfielders:

1.- BEATI Nicola
2.- CONCEICAO Sergio
3.- DALMAT Stephane
4.- DI BIAGGIO Luigi
5.- EMRE Belozoglu
6.- FARINOS Javier
7.- GUGLIELMINPIETRO Andres
8.- MORFEO Domenico
9.- OKAN Buruk
10.- ZANETTI Cristiano
11.- DAVALA Umit
12.- ALMEYDA Mathias

on this subject IMO we are little bit weak..by not having a natural trequartista..im realy hoping cuper gives chances to Morfeo cus is the only one i see with the characteristics to play that role..

to sale?..mm Guly,Okan,Farinos to give chances to young players like beati and morfeo himself..or who nkows by the money we will make we could bring DONI or other good midfielder...

strikers:

1.- RONALDO Luiz Nazario
2.- VIERI Christian
3.- RECOBA Alvaro
4.- CORRADI Bernardo
5.- KALLON Mohamed
6.- VENTOLA Nicola

possibly the best atacck of the world in the duo ronaldo-vieri and having recoba and corradi for subst is a luxery

to sell...with a doubt Ventola...to give space to this young talented primavera guy who lately had been scoring like crazy MARTINS...next year with the joining of ADRIANO Kallon probably will have to be selled..

SO........

in total inter have 30 players without counting primavera ones that are trainig with the firts team that are martins, fraga, beati & ferraro that give us a total of 34 or 35 players ...too much i think..we have players enougth to play with hole three different squads in the three tournamenst we are going to play in..

with the sales of guly, farinos, okan, sorondo, ventola, kallon & serena..we will get some bucks and more important than that we wil have room space for young players like the primaveras squad to fill and try in...

with those sales we will have near the 27 or 28 players..wich is quite realistic and better to all players to have chances..

FORZA INTER!

I think we should sell Serena, Farinos, Ventola, send Okan on loan instead of Umit, Guglielminpietro. I think Georgatos should stay because this season like Conceicao wasnt fit from his injurie and we all remember how good he played years ago for Inter:angel: so he can be a good back-up for Coco.Sorondo is a young player hwo can develope in a great defender, superior in the air, but if Nest comes, then bye bye.

--

Inter.it: Inter has let full-backs Gresko and Georgatos go and has kept you. How do you see your future?

I have a contract until 2004. I would like to finish my career at Inter. I want to be useful to the team's cause, by being available to this group as long as I feel this respect and confidence in me.

Lazio president Sergio Cragnotti and Internazionale counterpart Massimo Moratti remained locked in talks on Monday about the proposed transfer of defender Alessandro Nesta to the San Siro.

"Nesta is half-way between Lazio and Inter," said Cragnotti. "He is 50 per cent an Inter player."

Inter have offered £18 million and striker Nicola Ventola for the Italy defender, but Lazio coach Roberto Mancini has told Cragnotti he would prefer Italy midfielder Cristiano Zanetti in part exchange.

"The coaches will decide about the trade," Cragnotti said after Monday's meeting in Milan.

The Lazio supremo added that the clubs would continue negotiations on Tuesday, when it is hoped the summer's longest-running transfer saga will be concluded.

This belongs in the rumours thread Zek and you should know that.

MILAN - Matias Almeyda has signed a three-year contract with Inter. The Argentine national team midfielder accepted a significant reduction in pay to join the nerazzurri, in keeping with the club's policy on signing-on fees. The player has requested the number 25 shirt and will be at Cuper's availability from next Monday.

I'm very happy about this.
Almeyda is a hard worker in the midfield who also has the skills for passing...he likes Cuper, and that pay reduction really says it all :)

I have a feeling Almeyda may dispossess DiBi from the starting XI.

We can now all discuss the official signings here because as you can see i have posted an announcement with the official signings and sales in it.The beauty of the announcement is that it can be edited if new players arrive and it cannot be replied to and only the mods can edit it so we will have a complete roundup of only signings and sales until the season starts.

Lazio defender Alessandro Nesta looks to have finally ended speculation over his future by revealing that he is set to remain at the club.

The Italian International has been the subject of strong interest from Inter but the Nerazzurri have failed to reach agreement with Lazio over a transfer.

"I'm a Lazio player and I will begin pre-season training with them this week," he said.

"This will probably mean that I will stay here which is something I always wanted.

"My only priority is Lazio at the moment and I'm happy to remain."

Lazio director Massimo Cragnotti also confirmed that the player would be staying on.

Inter Milan coach Hector Cuper has admitted that he is still chasing Lazio's Italian international defender Alessandro Nesta.

The Nesta saga has been dragging on for weeks, and negotiations between Lazio and Inter are still ongoing.

"Someone like him can play alone in the defence," said Cuper to the Italian press.

On Sunday, there will be a new meeting between Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti and Lazio president Sergio Cragnotti.

Although both clubs have agreed on a price, there still remains a doubt regarding which Inter player will go to Lazio in exchange.

Lazio have asked on several occasions for Inter midfielder Cristiano Zanetti, but the Milan club have rejected that option.

The other strong possibility, that Nesta would move to Juventus, has been almost killed off by Manchester United's signing of Rio Ferdinand.

That move means United are extremely unlikely to pursue Juve central defender Lilian Thuram, and the money the Turin club expected to make from that deal was earmarked for snaring Nesta.

i think we can still get him

Roberto Sosa will not play for Udinese in the new season after he moved on loan to Boca Juniors. Inter’s Grigorios Georgatos has also left Italy.

The Argentine striker returns to his homeland after a disappointing campaign last term when he scored just twice in 15 League games.

There has been strong speculation that Sosa was on his way out of the Stadio Friuli after the Bianconeri were linked with a host of strikers.

Inter’s Nicola Ventola is a possible new arrival, but there are strong reports suggesting that Carsten Jancker and Oliver Bierhoff are targets.

Bayern Munich officials have admitted that talks are in progress for Jancker.

While Bierhoff has been linked with a return to Udine. Reports suggest he will sign a two-year deal before being offered a director role once he quits the game.

Meanwhile, Grigorios Georgatos has left Inter after failing to settle in his second spell at the San Siro.

The 30-year-old left back will return to Greece after he reached a three-year agreement with AEK Athens.

MILAN (Reuters) - Italian soccer authorities will decide this week on the fate of 23 clubs, including AS Roma and Lazio, whose financial situation leaves them facing possible exclusion from the league which restarts in September.
The clubs have until 19:00 CET on Monday to provide the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) with documents showing an improved budget to the one that led Covisoc, Italian soccer's finance authority, to last week reject their applications to participate in the league.

It is expected that the two Serie A sides, the six Serie B clubs and 15 teams from Serie C will all provide the documents and apart from troubled Fiorentina all clubs are confident their new budgets will be accepted when the FIGC meets on Friday.

Rome clubs Lazio and Roma are certain that they will be taking part in Serie A when the season starts on September 1.

'We have presented all the necessary papers,' Lazio official Giancarlo Guerra said.

'Our registration for the championship has never been in any doubt,' he added.

A spokesman for AS Roma said that the club's debt to the Football League had been resolved and therefore there was no reason why the team should not take part in the upcoming season.

Serie B teams Fiorentina, Genoa, Messina, Napoli, Palermo and Verona also saw their initial applications rejected but only Fiorentina appear to still be in danger of missing out.

The Florence club, relegated from Serie A last term, have deep financial troubles and were put in administration in June.

But they have been unable to find a new buyer to take over from current owner Vittorio Cecchi Gori.

'Up until this moment we have not received any extra income to our budget, but I hope that the shareholders, starting with Cecchi Gori, will provide the money the team needs this afternoon,' said Fiorentina administrator Enrico Frazzini.

All other Serie B clubs told Reuters they would be in a position to satisfy the demands of Covisoc.

Inter have officially confirmed that Fabio Cannavaro is about to sign for the Nerazzurri, beating competition from Milan and Juventus.

The official Inter website revealed the shock news late Wednesday evening ahead of the Trofeo Birra Moretti tournament against Juventus and Chelsea.

“At this moment,” read the statement, “Fabio Cannavaro’s move from Parma to Inter is in the final stages.”

The news came as a surprise to the Italian press, as up until this evening only Juve and Milan had been earmarked as contenders for the Azzurri captain.

The San Siro side had been in talks with Alessandro Nesta for several months, but could not reach an agreement with Lazio for the £37m-rated defender.

Instead it appears that Coach Hector Cuper has settled on Italian international Cannavaro as a suitable reinforcement for the defence.

Parma had demanded £25m for the 28-year-old, but Juve and Milan had been unwilling to go above £15m.

:D ... well .. cuper wanted ... inter got him ... very simple

Anyway I would like to thanks everybody.. from the Tanzi family to my team mates, to the rest of the team. But most of all the supporters. Seven years really deep, that I will never forget.

Tomorrow will begin my new adventure, but we will talk about it in the next days..

FRESH NEWS :

08/07/2002. Inter legend & current vice-president was almost lost for words to describe his emotion to see a top defender like Fabio Cannavaro sign for Inter. ''With the transfer of Cannavaro, Moratti has done the maximum to reinforce the squad." The Inter vice president continued, "We will play the Scudetto with the other two or three favourites." As regards Ronaldo , Facchetti said, "The club clarified the future of the Brazilian as from Saturday."

This transfer comes only hours after Juve and Milan put a fresh offer on the table to get the Italy defender.

What'd I tell you lot. Cannavaro is gonna be a great signing and his tenure at Parma shows he is a true professional unlike some of our current players. Funny to see some of you saying this is a good siging when you shot down my suggestions that we should/could go out and get him months ago. A move for Nesta now seems off, but never say never. If we got them both... Hell, if we let Il Mercenario go to Real Madrid like he wants, then we can go out and get Nesta. I'd rather we had Nesta than Ronaldo.

so what should we expect?

Cannavaro - Cordoba - Gamarra

and Materazzi as sub?

because most probably we will play 3 backs plus supporting Coco and J. Zanetti

it's an excellent news our defence will be rocky this season great signings of Cannavaro and in addition Gamarra and Adani to what we already had makes me think about having of the most solid defences in Seria A. Of course let's wait and see what will happen.

Congratulations Cannavaro is oficially inter's from today!

Cannavaro's price wasn't what everyone expected.
i read it was around the 14 million pound mark, which is a steal for a player of his calibre. I reckon the transfer was a smooth transition since Parma and Inter have a good relationship, after all we loaned them adriano, and gave them ferrari and frey as well. plus we acquired some of their players
but i suspect relationship will be very sour after the serieA starts when they find out how shit gresko really is. Man i don't believe that parma has one of the worse defenders ever to put on an inter jersey, and we got the favourite son of Parma

BTW Zul, i remember back when ppl were pouring cold water on anyone who suggested canna could be an option. i think you were one of the users to be mocked at with you suggesstion of canna during that time :silly: :D

I wouldn't hurry on Ronaldinho, since we have Recoba.

At this point, I wouldn't even consider Ronaldinho much less hurry for him.

Gaucho seems contempt ay PSG, and recoba likewise. it wouldn't make much sense if gaucho were to come to inter, as it's not as if recoba go pull off a ronaldo and go into wilderness for the next 2 years.

Plus i hope cragnotti keeps his word, and hols onto nesta, as if either juve or milan get him, eith one will be a serious threat. but being cragnotti, keeping his word, is like keeping used toilet papar. he's prolly gonna flush out all the shit that he's said previously.

I think Kaladze is a great player, he's very versatile and has quick thinking.Apart from him and Maldini they are weak although Laursenb has potential which he never seems to be able to fulfill.

Their bid of 16-17 million pounds was a joke!!! What did they think, Cragnotti would suddenly agree to take less than what Inter and Juve were offering? The bid was a slap in the face to Nesta himself too.

I'm still surprised they would be after him considering they picked up Fresi. Fresi was the OPTA Italian defender of the year last year.

First season is often tough, especially for midfielders, and Rui Costa had played years in Fiorentina. Let's see how fast Rivaldo can adjust himself to serie a style...but blah, that's Milan's problem. Our midfield is not as famous as theirs but can play better together I'm sure.

Yes, too true! Though ppl sasy it will be a battle between Ronaldo :ronaldo: and Rivaldo in the Milan derby, in terms of similar styles, it will be more of a battle between Recoba and Rivaldo. Both play similar styles - setting up rather than scoring, superb ball control, great dribbling, and a thundering left-foot. Both are set-piece experts too!

No, not only Maldini. They've got Simic now, and once he's in form, he defends superbly. So now, their defence is not totally crap. But there's one thing about Simic, he's completely unpredictable - One game he's a maestro, next he's a loser!! :silly:

It wont be a battle between Chino and Rvaldo. It will be a battle between Roni and Rivaldo. You know, it looks like Rivaldo is sick of NOT being Roni in selecsao, so he came to Italy to show that he is damn good too:D which he is, but not as good as Roni.

he'll be the successor to ronaldo.

Umit is built somewhat like Vieri too. E'll be good for headers, like he showed in the WC.

Sergio will probably have his last chanc eon the RW this seaosn. If he shows the kind of form he did in EURO 2000 (which I'm beginning to think was a fluke), then Cuper might persist.

Or else..............:dead:
