Chievo have announced that winger Christian Manfredini has signed for Lazio and could soon be followed by teammate Eriberto.

“The club and fans thank Manfredini,” read a statement on Chievo’s official website, “for two splendid seasons in the Gialloblu shirt. We all wish him the best of luck in continuing his brilliant career in the Italian capital.”

It’s believed that the winger, born in the Ivory Coast but adopted by Italian parents as a young boy, cost in the region of £7m.

Manfredini was considered for international duty, but so far has not been called up for the Azzurri.

Teammate Eriberto is also a target for Lazio as the duo would fit in perfectly with Roberto Mancini’s 4-4-2 system.

Chievo now own the Brazilian outright after winning a closed auction against Juventus. He would also cost in the region of £7m

i saw on sslazio.it that cragnotti is asking for a loan of 48m euros from the board of directors . it seems that the board of directors do not want nesta and crespo to leave and may be willing to loan that amount to cragnotti

Yes, he is a good player and a great prospect, who can both play in the central and the right defence.
He would be a benchwarmer in Lazio with many defenders who would be favoured to play before him. Maybe if we would buy him, we'd loan him out, but right now we need to sell some players first.

now it seems that Crespo is staying . I hope Mendieta , Lopez , Liverani and Dino Baggio leave . Nesta should stay as the sale of these four players will account for Nesta 's price .
