It's one thing i can't stand.People who go to other boards just to slag off a team.I believe everyone should have some respect for other boards and if not should not be allowed to post on them.

I really hate Manure. Onky Derbie are hated more by me. However, i respect that Manchester United have been a great team, and probably still will be.

Red Devil, looking at your signiture, i must say that your squad is not as strong as it used to be:

Fabien Barthez, David Beckham, Laurent Blanc, Wes Brown, Nicky Butt, Roy Carroll, Luke Chadwick, Diego Forlan, Quinton Fortune, Ryan Giggs, Denis Irwin, Ronny Johnsen, Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Philip Neville, Paul Scholes, Mikael Silvestre, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Raimond Van der Gouw, Juan Sebastian Veron and Dwight Yorke

Blanc: questionable if he can last another season.
Chadwick: yet to prove himself.
Forlan: Has a LOT to prove
Fortune: pretty average
Irwin: leaving?
Johnson: leaving?
Keanne: may find it hard after WC.
Scholes: needs to find his old form
Solskjear: I wish Fergie would play him every game.
Van Der Gou: leaving?
Veron: CRAP
Yorke: leaving?

Of course you have Becks, Giggs, Ruud etc and Neville is steady, but i really cant see you threatening Arsenal unless you strengthen the defence and sign a decent midfielder(and get rid of Veron)

come on red devil et al - u must see we are by far the better team. We played you three times last season and won every game. We won the league at your stadium and this season after 6 games we are already 6 points clear of you. ManYoo r struggling to score (3strikers 1 gr8 but off form, 1 also very good but still been a sub most of his ManU career and 1who can't score)and with Keane, Butt and Veron injured your midfield looks decidely leightweight (Phil Neville?!?! rubbish).
Our strikers seem limitless Henry last years top scorer, Bergkamp scorer of last years best goal, Wiltord this years top scorer with 6in6 from the WING! and scorer of the league winning goal at OT and thats not to mention Aliadiere (best French prospect out of Clairefontaine equal top FAyouth cup scorer with michael Owen) Jeffers (£8M scored1in2 for everton) Graham Barrett who recently scored on his Ireland NT debut and Kanu who has more tricks than david Copperfield.

at the start of last season Gio Van Bronckhurst, Robert Pires and Freddy Ljungberg where all first choice midfielders even though we are missing as many midfielders as you we are still almost as strong - Gilberto Silva has come in (Veron cost more than 6times as much) and looks like he had played in the EPL for years, Kolo Toure's pace and physical power have worried evry team that has faced him, Wiltord scores more from midfield than he does upfront!! Edu's calm passing continues to open up teams and West Ham couldn't deal with Jermain Pennant at Upton park.

our squad has greater depth, confidence and togetherness (see Roy Keane slapping Phil Neville and slagging his rolex loving teammates - he has no respect for any1 but Fergie) Arsenal players love each other and the manager and all you need is love - we are goin2 destroy u this season we want it more, we deserve it more- this is the start of the Arsenal dynasty. the sooner you get rid of Fergie and start rebuilding the sooner you might challenge us because we are miles ahead at the moment.

No kidding. Jesus Gil recently blasted Madrid. He no wonder poor Jesus embezzles money. If he didn't, Real would surely get their hands on it in the end. And about that football pitch, how's the Olympic training facility they bought it for coming along?

Eagles:"Take it easy" !

The season will be hot in Great Britain and looooooooooooong, so we will see in the end who's the best there.
But to be the second or the third in the english Premiere league
deserves as much respect as being the first. ;)

Yeah, yeah, yeah...

We'll see who will laugh last. Arsenal would never have won the last season if ManUtd hadn't had such bad start (9th place, remember?). Arsenal wins a title every now and then, but that is it!

u r a joker. we played ManYoo three times and beat them 3times. we were unbeaten away frm home and scored in every game THAT IS Y WE WON THE LEAGUE - Manyoo's lame defeats against teams like west ham and bolton were embarrasing but they aren't the reason u lost the league - u could give them as excuses if the league was a tight run thing between us and u BUT IT WASN"T Liverpool came second we were 10 points clear of you! after yr bad start which cost u last year u manged 2b top by christmas - surely top is a position from which u can win the league - u r living in denial Arsenal simply blew Manyoo away last season this misjudged arrogance (whenever any1 else wins the league ManYoo fans claim they "gave it away" or "lost it" no the league was not given up IT WAS WON we went to your ground and took it from you. u know we are the better team, r players are better, r manager is better, we play the more attractive football and we r going 2win the league again this year. How ManYoo start, finish, play or plan is irrelavent 2us because we aim to stay top 4the rest of the season. Each and evry game we go in2 at the moment we have the potential to win conclusively.

we r not worried about ManYoo - they r miles behind at the moment. we r worried about Real Madrid, Valencia, Milan and Juve, our only possible peers in Europe at the moment

oh n Who r man yoo...dey r da team dat trashed arsenal 6-1??ne memories??!6-1..da largest goal margin in a United arsenal match....dey r da team dat have one da treble in 99..da team dat won da F.A cup most number of times.....da team dat won da Premiership most number of times...da only team to win 3 Premiership's in a row!arsenal have sumhow managed to win 2 premiership's in total!?!hahaha..wad a joke...sheesh...hope dat answers who man yoo really r..!!

JD
10-20-2002, 02:58 PM
a few points for the delusional ManYoo fan
Barthez was by far your best player at highbury
he saved about half a dozen one on ones
the "rebound" goal at Old Trafford (at last time I checked they still count) is again because of good play from your GK saving Freddy's goal bound shot

the constant reference to Premiership records are a smokescreen- The Premiership is just 10 years old (maybe u r 2)
we won 3 top flight leagues in a row long b4 u did (in the 30s)and don't get excited about winning leagues we r right behind u and Liverpool r miles ahead. U r a spent force we will overtake your championship total in a few years- Liverpool are our next target

Good point.
The fact is that, at the moment Arsenal are enjoying more success on the pitch. One, I presume would look at the United team and see better individuals overall, but arsenal are playing well as a team. just as importantly Arsenal are having the same luck that United enjoyed when they were the best team in the EPL. They win games and draw games they dont deserve to. Arsenal should really have 4 defeats behind them, but for alot of luck and many teams more afraid of their reputation, they have beaten many teams before they even got on the park. I will point people to the teams that arsenal have played in the EPL. Not very convincing teams. We will see how they fair against better teams. Also Arsenal have got the consistancy United used to show. Arsenal havent gotten better. Its more the rest of the EPL bar Liverpool have deteriorated. United look great in Europe and will go further then Arsenal, as better teams in europe will, as always show arsenal up.

Think, they are both superb teams and Liverpool, too. How they are going to do in the CL we will see in the next months, but they are always attractive to watch.
BTW, is there someone going on the match MU:Arsenal on 7th December? ;)

if I can get a ticket for the away game I'll be there- I'll definitely be there for the game at Highbury- for all the hype and arguments over who's the best I still think it will be very tight - I think the league title could come down to the games between ManYoo, Livrpl and us
