It is confirmed tht Gabriel Omar Batistuta is retiring from the Argentina National team.Will the loss of Batistuta be a fatal defeat of Argentina for the next world cup?Can Hernan Crespo Handle the Argentinian team?

No way.In a few years time,Crespo,Saviola,Romeo,D'alessandro,Riquelme will all be in the team and when that happens,we will not miss batigol,Simeone,Caniggia...!

I loved his performance in the past and is a great striker but he has passed his peak and no longer the player he used to be .

well his perfomance in the past has a lot of respect to be shown! for me he still is and always is the same Gabriel Omar batistuta he was a couple opf years ago

and zanneti it for sure was not the arg one hes been i inter for quite a time now probably tjhe italian one but he played for Roma:confused:

its a big thing for the argentina team to lose batistuta because he's already a legend in soccer, i believe so and many other people do to but i think we could still do well and win the next world cup. the players will have to step it up a little and bring young new rookies like savolia. im pretty confident will win in 2006.
