I just couldn't believe it.Now that i am blaming the referee for this one!I think the referee was wrong to sent Caniggia off and book Larsson for no reason. And of course,i was in tears when the final whistle blew.I mean i saw Argentina miss chance after chance with Sorin,Lopez,Zanetti........etc.I am truly disappointed and will welcome Passerella back to coach us again!

Argentina didnt make a single shoot that put Hedman on danger, only one of Zanetti.

Zanetti gave a cross to Sorin who was unmarked and he headed straight at Hedman.Lopez had forced a save at the far post late in the 1st half.Sorin should at least have converted the close range header.
Bielsa's poor tactics and the fact that he chose too many players who were just out of form as well as a bit of bad luck are what brought Argentina down. They could have done with Riquelme and Pellegrino in the squad and maybe even Saviola.

Yeah,i agree so.I was asking for Pellegrino to be chosen.Bielsa probably had no experience coaching Argentina on the world stage.

If Crespo was the one there,he would have scored.
The biggest mistake of all was to play an out-of-form and aging Batigol instead of starting Crespo.
