Who do you think is the best...

Who do you think is the best Finnish soccer player at the moment? We have great players abroad like Sami Hyypiä, Jari Litmanen, Mikael Forssell, Antti Niemi... the list is long but who's your favorite?

Jari Litmanen is the best for me even thought Sami have been great this Season but at the NT Jari always does it better.

Mika Forsell will be the best in the future,and his partner Daniel Sjolund.

I think Jari Litmanen is the best. His understanding for the game is spectacular and he can score goals; He's at the top of Finland's NT top scorers of all times though not alone, so one goal and he has the place that he should. Best Finnish player of all times in my opinion.

I just can't understand Gerard Houllier. Why doesn't he play Litmanen. Houllier said that he has bought a marvellous player who adapted EPL playing style in two weeks what usually take two months. And Emile Heskey is a small-time player compared to Litmanen. Hell, I'd pick Litmanen over Michael Owen too. Owen might be fast but I have seen only two players in the world with same kind of game reading; Rivaldo and Zidane. This may sound a little overvaluing of Litmanen but many football sources(not Finnish) have said that Litmanen would've been chosen as the World Footballer of the Year in Ajax when they won CL but there were thoughts like "He's from north, he can't play". But someone from Finland will take that trophy sometime and kill those suspicions. Forssell perhaps after 5-7 years? Maybe, maybe not.

I have the same opinion. Heskey and Owen are very good players, but why did'nt even give a chance to Litmanen?
I think that the move to Ajax is going to move Litmanen forward on his career...Or I hope so.

ahba// Anti Sumiala went to IFK Norrköping in swedish first division and made it very well, scoring I think 13 goals in as many games or so. It did´nt help Norrköping though who went down to second division. Sumiala will stay at the club as far as I know, good striker.
Another finnish player that made it very well in allsvenskan was Marko Tuomela at GIF Sundsvall. One of the best central defenders in the league. He will now be the first finn in chinees league and play for Laioning of Beijing. Exellent defender who wins EVERYTHING in the air.
Can´t compete whit Hypiä though I guess who are probably the best finnish player. I think Litmanens days are over.
