Here are some suggestions
Julio Ricardo Cruz
Marcelo Gallardo
Gabriel Batistuta

Bomber

Here's an interesting fact,

Since Paolo Rossi in 1982, there's no player finished as a top scorer and won the cup in the same time.. so I hope that the top scorer this time won't be from our team! :o

But I voted for Crespo anyway :D.

It should be Crespo :)

Looking at things now,Batistuta is more likely to make to the team than Crespo.I hope Crespo rediscovers his form and stake his claim in Korea/Japan.

"Estoy indeciso entre Batistuta y Crespo los dos estan juganmdo bien"

"Crespo and Batistuta have both been playing great its difficult to say who will start against Nigeria

Why don't Batistuta play behind Crespo. This will create an opportunity for Batistuta to whack the loose balls. This will be successful especially with his powerful shot of his.

Have you seen him this season? He has been absolutely terrible.
Not worth a penny in my view.

well considering he is being fielded as defensive midfielder i am not surprised ! he is not rubbish he is just being used wrongly

That isn't actually true, he has been tried in many positons this season but was inneffective in all of them. Personally i hope he plays for the argies against us because we wont have to worry about him.

Rubbish, you wont be able to handle the pace of Owen like last time.
We have the best player in the world in Beckham, hopefully this time you wont cheat in getting him sent off.
Wot do you have, a midfielder who can only do well in Italy, and a past it forward.

By the way, Veron has been criticised throughout the season.

That does say it all, because it tells us that he can only do well in a boring, slow league where you dont have to break a sweat.
As soon as he entered a proper league, where you have to work hard and not just show your flashy little skills he is cr*p.

There is no way will win this argument because there is about 7 of you and 1 of me, but serie a is slow compared to the premiership. Believe me unless you cheat like you did in 98 becks will show you how good he is. As for Owen it may be the biggest mistake you make if you underestimate him. Our weakness is our defence if anything but with our new star left back we can contain anyone.

As long as he dont play Keown!!!

The premiereship is not at all challenging , in the weakest teams you have what kind of defenders ? In the weakest teams in the Serie A , they have players like Vialli , Magallanes , Daniel Andersson .

yes u r right.

but their r some good players also at the EPL,and if we take a look at European Compeititons they made a better job than Italian sides.

well maybe the worst team this Season doesnt had such good players as Venezia but Manchester City have quit good players.

Wow they sound good, never heard of them mate, apart from daniell andersson.

I have not heard of the players at the bottom of serie a so i think they are no good, same as you think the prem bottom players are rubbish.

Let's face it . The Serie A is more aggresive and harder than the Premiereship . If you observe very carefully , whenever you have the ball , your opponent will rush to tackle and most of the time , this ends up in a foul .

Serie A is very dull, the most goals i see is ROMA 5-1 LAZIO, all the other times, it is very defensive.

Top scorers  cannigia and saviola?

Its the same in the Prem except it isn't a foul, because the defenders are better they more often win the ball.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha what a funny one! EPL more competitive than Serie A

hey in EPL its either Arsenal or Man ure! no one else! ur league sucks! Itlian league is known for being the most competitive and ten time more of a challenge than EPL

ur league is just like ur national team:rolleyes:

And as for the World Cup, as long as you dont cheat again we will get at least a draw from you.

Series A is more Chalenging but the playing style is roughter than Series A,and Veron is a inteligent player, that make smart passes but the players at Man UTD are different to the Lzio´s players.

EPL is more offensive they have class teams but the league is not that competitve u can compare the Arsenal,Man UTD,Liverpool,And Leeds defenders with the Italian teams but the rest of the teams?exept Villa that counts with Mellberg!

even the worst team in Italy have great players like Venezia's Maniero,Andersson,Magallanes and other couple of good players.

The reason there are so many fouls is that the players are skillful that is why they need to foul to tackle them . What's more , i prefer watching the Serie A than the Premiership even though they show 5 premiereship games and 3 Serie A games per week .

If you discount the scum that got relegated last year(sheep shaggers and leicester) Then the defenders are pretty good quality throughout the league.

I like the EPL pitches , they are very green compared to the serie A but the Serie A is more aggresive and you can see fireworks let off by the fans at times , just like when Lazio won the scudetto , fireworks were coming from all areas of the Stadio Olympico .
