I tried to look for it, but I think I will give up soon, here is my nearest explaination (based on experience with other stupid nicks of some players).. Well his name is Filippo inzaghi right ? Then you could write the F at the beginning as PH, so it became Philippo Inzaghi, (probably some stupid guy mispelled his name), take out the "hil" for some unknown reason and you get Pippo (I say his mother did that for no clear reason, does anyone know why pele was called pele ? actually I have an answer for that and I will post it if you want) as for the super then maybe his parents and bro wanted to "advertise" his talents and called him super... Super + Pippo = Superpippo... :D
Anyways thats not the point, who cares about his nick, that guy is not only arrogant but also not honest.. Read these two things I found on one of them pippo fan sites..
Interview with pippo:
Did you have an idol?
"Marco Van Basten, the greatest forward ever."
What do you admire most from him?
"It's difficult to choose. He was such a perfect player. I hope to win as much as he did but I steel need to grow up."
Ok now he like van basten.. No prob.. but read this another interview..
Since you were little do have an ideal player?
Yes, Karlheinz Rummenigge. But after I became a profesional player everything changed.
I dont know did he mean by the last sentence that his love to Rummenigge changed and he now likes basten or what ??? This is confusing..
Also read this arrogant statement.. I will mark the words I dont like in BOLD
He said : " That happened on December, 20th 1992 against Sienna. That game was very important because the result would determined who was going to be degraded. I was 19 years old and at that time I was in the subs bench. We kept on attacking but no goals were created. Coach Bortolo Mutti asked me to join the game and he said 'Scored a goal Pippo!' There was still 18 minutes for me to score a goal like Mutti asked me to do. But 9 minutes was enough for me and the goal was great. The ball that I kicked from the outside of the penalty box went into the top right corner of the enemy's goal. I was very emotional at that time,"
First of all its nice to be sure of yourself but I cant go on saying I am too good I needed 9 mins only, I can say that about pippo and admire him but he cant say that about himself.. And for the enemy thing.. Are we in a war ?? As far as I know it can be called "rivals", "opposing team", "the other side" but enemy ??
Or maybe the whole thig was badly translated or made up ???? I have no clue and I hate it when journalists confuse us..
Anyways I am happy as long as he keeps the goals coming.. And by the way Ancelotti said pippo is leaving to nowhere and he is staying in his home Juve.
